He also had suspected cannabis and a stolen television in the vehicle. Suspect stole food items from one business, electrical hardware from the second and two bar stools from the third. Suspect described as a white male, medium build, wearing blue or light green shirt, black shorts and sandals. Vehicle described as a white GMC Jimmy with a cargo rack.

Described as; Suspect 1 � 15 to 17 years of age, 6 feet tall, black spiked hair, gray tank top and swim trunks Suspect 2 � 15 to 17 years of age , 6 feet 3 inches tall, blonde hair, blue jeans and a black shirt The fire was extinguished by fire department personnel, minor damage.

Victim sustained head injuries, (not life threatening). Victim transported to hospital for treatment. Benjamin arrested for Aggravated Battery.

He grabbed her by the hair and threatened her, demanding money. He reportedly took a small amount of cash from her. The suspect, Dale Baker, age 43 was located and arrested for Aggravated Battery and Robbery.

05/11/10	Aggravated Battery	500 Block N 13th St	Cleared By Arrest	Woman, identified as Mary Green, age 42, stabbed her live in boyfriend, 68 years of age with a large fork. Injury caused to neck of victim. He was treated by EMS. Mary Green was arrested for aggravated battery and booked into the Putnam County Jail.

05/01/10	Vehicle Theft / Burglary Vehicle	1800 Block Palma Ceia St	Cleared By Arrest	Vehicle, 2005 Chevrolet 1500, reported stolen and a vehicle at a neighbor�s house was broken into during night time and early morning hours. Vehicle located by officers in the College Arms Apartment complex. Some of the property stolen was found nearby. Officers got a call about suspicious persons and located a suspect, Ronald Bellan, age 18. He was found in possession of stolen property and witnesses linked him to the stolen vehicle. Arrested for Grand Theft and Burglary. Booked into the Putnam County Jail.

04/06/10	Robbery - Armed	200 Block South 16th St	Pending	Man reported that two suspects entered his residence at approximately 10:54 PM, threatened him with a gun (silver revolver) and stole cash from him. The suspects were described as two black males. One had dreadlocks and was wearing a white shirt and baggie pants. The second suspect had short dreadlocks and was wearing a red shirt and baggie pants. Investigators are working to locate a possible suspect at this time.

04/02/10	Fraud - Lottery Winner Scam	1000 Block Husson Av	Pending	Man reported that he received a letter in the mail stating that he won several hundred thousand dollars in a Spanish Lottery (Christmas Loteria Nacional Spanish Sweepstakes Lottery/International Program). He was instructed to contact the representative by telephone to confirm his prize. He did so and was told that he would be receiving two checks totaling $2,500.00 in the mail. He was instructed to deposit them in his bank account and then wire the $2,500.00 to an account in Madrid Spain. He did as instructed and then his bank reported to him that the checks he deposited were not valid. His bank held him responsible for the bad checks. This type of scam is quite common. The perpetrators are untraceable. The telephone number used is a cellular phone with no account information and the bank accounts in foreign countries are either in fictitious names or closed quickly.

03/31/10	Lewd And Lascivious	722 PRC Way	Pending	Woman reported that she was outside in the parking area when a man yelled at her. She turned to look and the man was standing naked in the parking lot. The man was described as a white male, 5 foot 7 with some facial hair. He was believed to be driving a small dark blue car. No suspects located. This suspect matches the description of a suspect observed committing a lewd act in the parking lot of Murphy Oil located on Highway 19 on Friday, March 26th around 11 PM.

He then pushed her and refused to let her leave as she tried to leave the residence. Darryl Bryant, age 33 arrested.
03/31/10	Aggravated Assault	300 Block Morris St	Cleared By Arrest	Man reported that a woman that rents a room in his house threatened him with a knife. Mary Carr, age 48 arrested for aggravated assault.

03/25/10	Aggravated Battery	3200 Crill Av	Pending	Man was fighting with unknown subjects. Unknown person hit him in the head with a bottle. Injuries required stitches. No suspects known.

03/21/10	Burglary of Structure	2100 Husson Av	Pending	Unknown suspect attempted to break a hole in the wall of the convenience store. Seen by witness who called police. Only description was that it was a black male.
03/21/10	Burglary of Residence / Aggravated Assault	500 N. 20th St	Cleared By Arrest	Suspect, Jerome Wesley, age 43 reportedly forced his way in apartment and hit girlfriend and then threatened her with a knife. The woman ran from the apartment and called police. The suspect was located around 7 AM by Officer Chaz Kofler. He attempted to flee, but was caught by Officer Kofler. The suspect fought with the officer, but was eventually detained. Wesley was charged with Burglary of Residence, Aggravated Assault, Battery, Battery on Law Enforcement, Resisting with Violence, Possession of Cannabis and entering contraband into a Correctional Facility,
03/20/10	Fleeing And Resisting Arrest	300 Block Laurel St	Cleared By Arrest	Suspect identified as Erester Ashford, age 27 seen running stop sign in vehicle. Officer Chris Ashley attempted to stop the suspect, but he fled, first in the vehicle and then on foot. After a short foot chase the suspect was apprehended by Officer Ashley and Officer Jermaine Sapp. Arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest without Violence, Possession of Cannabis and Criminal Mischief.
03/18/10	Aggravated Assault	300 Block Reid St	Cleared By Arrest	Suspect identified as Leland Rhevard, age 60 came to the business upset about a bill in reference to his insurance policy. He reportedly threatened the manager of the office with a baseball bat. Rhevard was found in the office when officers arrived. He eventually surrendered to officers. Arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the Putnam County Jail.

03/13/10	Aggravated Battery	1700 Block Napoleon St	Cleared By Arrest	Women arguing, ongoing problem between family members of persons involved in altercations over past week on Washington Street and at Palatka High School. Shamekia Wesley Paul, age 22 reportedly cut a victim on the arm and then tried to hit several people with her vehicle. Arrested for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, bond set at $2,504.00. Another person with her was arrested for providing false information to a police officer, Taniya Starling, age 20 of Palatka arrested for a battery charge and providing a false name. The victim, a 32 year old female who reported being stabbed in the arm was treated and released from Putnam Community Hospital.

03/06/10	Drugs	700 Olive St	Cleared By Arrest	Suspect Lonnie Johns, age 74, seen loitering behind a vacant house. Found in his possession was a small amount of crack cocaine, a small amount of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Johns was arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail.

A search of the vehicle revealed a container with 2 bags of powder cocaine and 1 bag of crack cocaine. Tobler arrested and booked for driving on a suspended license, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

02/13/10	Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault	500 North 20th St	Cleared By Arrest	Man reportedly choked woman and threatened her with a knife. He also reportedly threatened other members of her family with a knife. Suspect, Jerome Wesley, age 43 arrested for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Resisting Arrest without Violence, booked with no bond.
02/12/10	Drug Possession (Suspected Cocaine)	100 South 10th St (Parking Lot)	Cleared By Arrest	Two suspicious men were observed inside a parked vehicle. Officers checked on them and found that one of them had suspected cocaine in his possession. Suspect Kijana Boone (age 36) was found with ten (10) small bags of suspected cocaine. Boone was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Boone was booked into the Putnam County Jail, bond was set at $2,508.00.
02/09/10	Fraud Obtaining Prescription	200 State Road 19	Cleared By Arrest	Suspect, Christina Noojin, age 39 uttered a fraudulent prescription to a pharmacy for 120 Lortab pills. Arrested for Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Prescription by Fraud and booked into the Putnam County Jail.
02/09/10	Burglary Residence	1400 Ocean St	Pending	Unknown suspect(s) entered apartment through window. Stole a back massager and 4 pair of hair clippers. No suspects
02/06/10	Aggravated Battery	1100 South 12th St	Charges Filed	Two women argued at a bar, 200 South 10th. After they left the bar, the suspect, Kelly Jenkins, age 24 of Palatka went to the house on South 10th and confronted the victim. Jenkins reportedly cut the victim with a box cutter. Injuries to face and arm. The suspect could not be located so charges were filed on Jenkins for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
02/06/10	Aggravated Assault	1900 Madison St	Cleared By Arrest	Two men got into a fight at a bar (1200 Reid). After they left, one of them, the suspect, Craig Fells age 40 of Palatka went to the others house and threatened him with a handgun. Suspect arrested for aggravated assault.
02/02/10	Robbery (Home Invasion)	133 Crystal Cove Moorings Hotel	Pending	Night manager reported that he awoke at approximately 1:40 AM and found two suspects in his room. They pointed a gun at him and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash from him and left. The suspects were both described as black males, 20 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, with corn row styled hair. The weapon was described as a semi automatic handgun. No suspects at this time.

01/31/10	Grant Theft	500 Kay Larkin Dr	Pending	Large front end loader stolen from construction site. Used to run over several trees and then an open air structure at back of airport property. The front end loader was recovered from a nearby pond. It had been completely submerged in the pond.
